After years moving at walking pace aboard our sailboats, it sure is nice to move a little faster.  Here is a quick rap-up of getting to Vava’u, Tonga to film segments for Drop Everything, The Happiness Movie and Inner Calm.

After connecting to Air New Zealand in Los Angeles, we made a pit stop in American Samoa to lighten the load before heading off for Nuku’alofa, the capital of Tonga.  From there, it’s a bumpy island hopper to get up to Neiafu in the Vava’u Group.  Tuk-tuks, mini-buses, 4-wheelers, and pangas from there to get to the outer islands like Tapana, Vaka Eitu, and Mafana, all with a little help from my friends.
